Location

The courtyard with the two holiday cottages ‘Lower Cottage and Upper Cottage) is in the grounds of the Medieval Manor House where springs poor out of the hill side as your view expands across the fields and woods of the Blackmore Vale and has strong energy lay lines running through the grounds.

Vale Centre is in the Blackmore Vale, half way between Glastonbury and Stonehenge (Avebury 1.1/2 hrs). Surrounded by Iron Age Hill Forts and the famous National Trust House and Gardens of Stourhead is just 10 minutes away. 2 1/2 hrs west of London

It is a wonderful location because it is very accessable but is a place which offers much privacy at the end of a no-through road in the hamlet of Stoke Trister.

DISTANCES

CAR: 2 1/2 hours from London down the M3 and A303 (mostly dual carriageway) past Stonehenge

DIRECTIONS

Vale Centre Cottages are located halfway between Glastonbury and Stonehendge off the A303 coming from London, you take the M3 then from junction 7-8 you take the A303.  There are four country lanes into Stoke Trister but it is best to follow signs to Wincanton, Bayford and then turn into Bayford Lane which leads to the village of Stoke Trister.  These are narrow country lanes, so please drive slowly, there are horses, dog walkers and very large tractors.  Detailed directions will be provided with booking confirmation.
